Rail Car is a single, self powered carriage which just seats 14 people. Glass ceilings of this oddly shaped rail car offers panaromic views. It is said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the President of Pakistan, and Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India travelled in the Rail Car during the historic meeting that led to Shimla Agreement.

Times of India reports "A 1927 popular Rail Motor Car that had been chugging through the verdant valley of Himachal Pradesh for 85 continuous years on the narrow gauge UNESCO World Heritage Kalka-Shimla rail track has come to a screeching halt, after its wheels wore off last week."
